Keep the lights on.
Shrink the bill while you're at it.

A home solar system solves two problems at once: the outages you can't control, and the tariff increases you can't avoid. We engineer for both — then we make the system clever, so it keeps saving after the installers have gone home.

One roof. Three jobs.

Solar that pays the bills

An array sized from your actual usage — including winter — so the bulk of your daytime consumption comes off the roof, not the grid. Every kWh harvested is a kWh you don't buy at next year's tariff.

Battery that ends load shedding

Essential circuits — lights, TV, fridge, wifi, alarm — ride through any outage without you touching a thing. The changeover takes milliseconds. Your kids won't look up from the movie.

Intelligence that tames the geyser

Water heating is typically the single biggest slice of a household bill. Add optional Solaire Intelligence and it moves into solar hours automatically — same hot water, heated by sunshine instead of the tariff.

Your geyser is the hungriest thing you own.

On most household bills, water heating is the single biggest line — with the pool pump not far behind. A dumb geyser heats whenever it feels like it, which usually means grid power at the most expensive time of day.

Add Solaire Intelligence to your installation — an optional upgrade unique to our installs — and it takes over those loads. The geyser heats at solar noon, the pool pump follows the sun, and the battery is held back for the evening and load shedding. Same comfort, same hot water — but the heavy lifting happens when the energy is free.

That's the difference between owning a solar system and actually using one: the hardware harvests the energy, the intelligence decides where it goes. See how SI does it →

No timers, no fiddling. Timers guess; intelligence measures. SI watches actual solar production moment to moment and runs the big loads on real surplus — on a cloudy day it adapts, on a sunny one it feasts.

SI app — water management
SI app — cost and savings in rands

Questions we'll answer before you spend a rand.

"What size do I actually need?"

Sized from your bill and your peak loads — not from what's on special this month. The six sizing questions we work through are public. No mystery.

"What stays on in an outage?"

Exactly what we agree on: lights, TV, fridge, wifi, alarm as standard. The geyser and pool wait for the sun — by design, not by accident.

"When does it pay for itself?"

Your quote states payback period, year-one saving, and long-run benefit in rands, VAT-inclusive. If the maths doesn't work for your home, we'll say so before you sign anything.

"Do I have to pay cash?"

No. Domestic systems can be financed through Nedbank — solar asset finance over up to 96 months, or through your home loan — so the monthly instalment competes with the electricity saving. Subject to credit approval.

"Is it compliant?"

PV GreenCard accredited, installed by qualified installation electricians and signed off with a Certificate of Compliance. Your insurer will ask; you'll have the answer.

"How do I know it's working?"

Every install is SI-ready: add Solaire Intelligence for the live picture — solar, battery, grid, the big loads — plus reports of what you actually saved. No guessing, no "seems fine".

"What about afterwards?"

On SI-monitored installs we usually see a problem before you do. A system that quietly underperforms for six months costs real money — monitored ones don't get to.

SI Optional upgrade · Solaire Intelligence

The same system, run intelligently, saves noticeably more.

Geyser at solar noon. Pool pump following the sun. Battery held back for load shedding. That's Solaire Intelligence doing the thinking — an optional upgrade on any of our installs, on hardware and software we build ourselves in South Africa.
